Cleaning Services Operatives
DUTIES
- To ensure that the rooms, toilets, offices, kitchens, communal areas and all allocated areas are cleaned to a high standard.
- To comply with the service level agreement.
- Damp-wipe tables, chairs, desks, and hard surfaces.
- Vacuum all soft floors and carpets.
- Mop hard floors and empty bins.
- To ensure appropriate PPE/Uniform are always used during working hours.
- To attend training as and when required.
- To take instruction and advice from the Cleaning Supervisor.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Experience in cleaning would be preferred and recommended.
- Resilience under pressure and able to adapt to changing environments.
- Ability to work to laid down schedules and in all weather conditions.
- Ability to work as part of a team and use own initiative.
- Excellent customer liaison skills together with a commitment to customer service.
- Enthusiasm, drive, ambition, and commitment.

Window Cleaning Operatives
DUTIES
- To ensure that excellent customer service standards are achieved and core business objectives and performance indicators are met.
- Ability to deal with removal and disinfection of Human and animal waste.
- Carrying out checks in communal areas for lighting and replacing light bulbs as required.
- Cleaning out gutters and other external pipes using safety equipment.
- Preparing and gritting pathways for the winter months.
- Other ad hoc requirements as per the cleaning schedule.
- Wash and dry glass surfaces inside and outside of buildings.
- Experience in using floor machines i.e., carpet steam cleaner, floor scrubbing machines.
- Experience in using reach and wash system for window cleaning and purified water system.
SKILLS REQUIRED

Grounds Maintenance Operatives
DUTIES
- Lawn maintenance and repairs.
- The safe use of ride-on mowers, rotary mowers, strimmer’s, leaf blowers and other horticultural machines.
- Soil cultivation, digging, forking, mulching, watering, raking, weeding, edging, and pruning.
- Bed preparation and planting.
- Hedge and shrub trimming.
- Keeping the borders, clear and free from debris and litter always.
- Gritting, salt spreading and snow clearing when required.
- To keep the tools clean and damage free, report to manager when necessary.
- Ensuring that all visited locations are left in a clean and tidy state.
- Maintenance of records relating to tasks performed, materials and equipment.
- Promotion of safe working practices.
- Reporting any faulty equipment, damage, vandalism, or potential hazard to the Contract Manager.
- Promote and ensure the good reputation of the company.
- Carry out any other duties commensurate with the position.
- Care and maintenance of company vehicle and reporting any damage or defects.
- Use of Job Watch to carry out the jobs everyday.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Good communication skills.
- Full UK Driver’s License (experience in towing trailer with equipment required).

DUTIES
- Carry out cleaning services, bag and remove all litter ensuring that all locations are left clean and tidy.
- Ensuring areas on the relevant grounds are cleaned in accordance with the street cleaning contract specifications.
- Working as an individual or as part of a team.
- Responding politely to approaches from members of the public.
- Maintain records relating to tasks performed, timesheets, vehicle mileage and check sheets and equipment as necessary.
- Report all damages and vandalism to Council Premises and Property.
- Reporting accidents and incidents as required.
- Other reasonable duties as directed by Manager/Supervisor.
SKILLS REQUIRED

Waking Watch Operatives
DUTIES
- Daily “non-technical” fire alarms and smoke vents testing on scheduled sites.
- Monthly emergency lights testing on sites.
- Monthly visual fire extinguishers testing.
- Recording of test results with use of PIMS or similar system.
- Making sure visited sites are visually safe and all faults are being reported immediately.
- Maintenance of records relating to tasks performed, materials and equipment.
